Your information.
Who we are
This website is run by adapten, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. For anything in this notice, write to privacy@adapten.ai. A person reads that mailbox.
What the enquiry form sends
If you send us a task, we receive your name, your work email address, your company name if you give it, the task you describe, your optional answers about what comes in and how often, which part of the page sent you to the form, a reference number, and the time you sent it.
That is emailed to us through Resend, a transactional email provider, from its servers in Ireland, with your address as the reply-to so that a person can answer you from an ordinary mailbox. The website itself stores nothing: there is no database and no copy on the server.
While you type, the form keeps a draft in your browser's session storage so that a detour to this page does not lose it. The draft is cleared when you send the form or close the tab. It never leaves your browser.
What we do with it
We use what you send to reply to you about the task you described, and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list, share your details with anyone outside adapten, or use them to train a model.
We keep the email conversation for twelve months after the last message in it, then delete it. If we go on to work together, the agreement for that work says what is kept and for how long.
What the site measures
We use PostHog, an analytics service hosted in the United States, to measure page visits, demo runs, calls to action and successful enquiry submissions. Analytics includes page paths, referring websites, browser and device information, and which demo or link was used. We do not send your name, email address or enquiry text to PostHog, record your session, or automatically capture what you type into the form.
PostHog runs in cookieless mode, without storing analytics cookies or identifiers in your browser. It uses network information to generate a temporary identifier on its servers to estimate visits; IP addresses are removed from analytics events. Read more in PostHog's privacy policy.
Optional advertising measurement
When advertising measurement is enabled, we ask before loading Google Ads or Meta Pixel. If you allow it, these providers may use cookies and receive page addresses, advertising click and campaign identifiers, browser and network information, and an event when an enquiry is successfully sent. An enquiry reference distinguishes that event; your name, email, company and message are not included. We do not enable enhanced conversions or automatic form matching.
Rejecting advertising leaves the website and enquiry form working. We keep your choice in this browser for up to six months. You can change it using Advertising preferences in the footer. Withdrawing permission stops future measurement and reloads the page to unload advertising scripts; it does not erase information already sent. You can also clear existing cookies in your browser settings. These providers may process information outside the UAE. Read Google's privacy policy and Meta's privacy policy.
Other website services
Fonts are served from adapten.ai, not from a third party.
The three tools on the homepage run in your browser on fictional sample data. Their readings and checks happen locally; only the usage events described above are sent to PostHog.
Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps short-lived request logs that include the IP address of each request, as any web host does. We do not use them to identify visitors.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to privacy@adapten.ai and we will reply within 30 days.
Client data
What happens to your company's documents and records once we build a tool for you is not covered by this notice. Before we build, we agree in writing which AI provider is used, in which region it runs, what is stored and for how long. That agreement governs.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. We will not change what we do with information you have already sent us without telling you.
